The magic of mescaline cacti

One of the most famous plants containing mescaline is peyote. This small, thornless cactus has been used for thousands of years in spiritual ceremonies by native South Americans and others who believe in its mind-expanding properties.

In the early twentieth century, however, Europeans began to notice how widespread and popular peyote was becoming among tribes throughout the Americas and Mexico. They soon banned its use through very strict laws, but we all know that prohibition doesn't stop people from using drugs! The peyote trade continued to flourish despite the ban on wild harvesting, because people love their hallucinogenic experiences enough to risk going through such an ordeal just so they can experience the magical effects of this plant.

Because of the ban on peyote, some entrepreneurs actually began growing the cactus in larger quantities for distribution and sale. This is how our beloved mescaline cacti were born and this is why you can buy them (legally) here today.

Grow your own mescaline cactus

Now that we've established that ingesting mescaline-containing substances of any kind carries a powerful psychoactivity, let's talk about growing your own mescaline cacti at home! Although we also sell ready-made cacti such as Peyote and San Pedro here at Avalon Magic Plants, it is of course much more fun to grow your own cactus. This kit contains everything you need to grow your own Mescaline cacti, such as the seeds, potting soil, a grow bed, perlite and of course all the instructions.

Keep in mind that growing your own mescaline cacti is quite a process that will take several months. But when you get to that point, a mescaline trip is probably one of the most special things you'll ever do. And who doesn't love a little gardening?

Methods of ingestion

Mescaline is usually ingested by taking the mescaline-containing parts of the cactus itself. For example, users consume either whole peyote buds (the top part of the cactus that grows above the ground), or chopped up fresh or dried outer bodies (also called "skin"). Mescaline-containing substances can also be brewed into tea.

If you want to experience mescaline, you can eat dried peyote buds or soak them in water overnight to make a tea. You can add other ingredients (such as mint or ginger) to reduce the bitterness and improve the taste. The final step is to drink the tea! Be sure to read up on the effects and precautions beforehand, as this psychedelic powerhouse can cause violent reality shifts!
